I’m Annabel, the founder of TotsSpots.com, and if you’ve ever spent hours late at night scrolling through Google, Facebook, and Instagram just trying to find one local baby class, only to end up asking around in local mum WhatsApp groups just to see what’s actually on in your town, then you and I have been in the exact same boat.
That was my reality as a new parent (well second time around as my first born was a Covid baby). I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find local classes. Becoming a parent is an incredible journey, but it can also feel incredibly isolating, when I had my second child I wanted to experience the classes and community I missed with my first born. I set up TotsSpots.com because I wanted to make sure no new parent had to feel alone or cut off from their community simply because they couldn’t find a local group.
From Tots to Teens
What started as a mission to help parents of babies and toddlers has grown into something much bigger. Today, TotsSpots.com excitedly serves families all the way from tots to teens.
Why? Because I truly believe that class based activities are vital for our children. They help kids develop life skills they might not necessarily learn in school, and they spark new interests and lifelong hobbies. Think back to your own childhood, it’s often the creative, athletic, or educational classes we did after school that form our fondest, most cemented memories (maybe even built a career from). Every child deserves to have those experiences.

From day one, accessibility has been at the absolute heart of what I do. I want to remove every single barrier for parents, which is why any class can sign up and list on TotsSpots.com for free.
No Barriers: By keeping our platform free for providers, we ensure that parents on low incomes can easily find free or low-cost activities run by charities and volunteer groups.
Additional Needs Support: We know how exhausted parents get trying to find accessible, adaptive classes. We actively prioritise making it easier for families of children with additional needs to find the exact support and activities they require.
Supporting the Irish Kids' Activities Sector
Beyond helping parents, I am deeply passionate about supporting the incredible people who run these classes. The children’s activity sector in Ireland is filled with hard working passionate provides and I wanted to help them thrive.
The Trusted Supplier Hub: We partner with a network of trusted businesses across Ireland to help service providers grow successfully.
The Business Club: I founded a dedicated business club for baby and kids’ service providers, a space where we can collaborate, share resources, and grow together.
The Tots Spots Awards: To truly celebrate the magic this sector creates, I launched the inaugural Tot Spots Awards. It has been a massive success, bringing in thousands upon thousands of nominations and votes from parents all over the country, culminating in our incredible awards event this past May.
At its core, Tot Spots isn’t just a directory—it’s a community built by a parent, for parents, and for the amazing people who keep our kids inspired, active, and connected.
